You don’t need to read assembly to enjoy this.
Simple rules.
Surprising depth.
A guard carrying gold hasn’t collected it for you. A hole is an empty space over brick terrain. And a movement proposal isn’t the same thing as a completed move.
We’ve traced those details through the original code. Try an interactive hole timeline, then follow the evidence when you’re ready.
17. 150. And two players.
The cartridge and disk releases share their core rules, but their levels, loaders and tools differ. Duo brings cooperative play to that original engine.
The byte map is complete. The story stays honest.
Every program byte is identified and the original programs rebuild exactly. The cartridge’s 320 bytes of leftover fragments have known contents, but an unknown historical purpose. Natural campaigns, physical hardware and complete timing bounds still have limits.
